A Page in Zine Culture

The reach and effect of zines has resonated across diverse audiences of like-minded people. Selfpublishing, in the form of a zine, has the potential to incite change and spark conversation around any subject. Whether one is interested in science fiction, comics, punk music, photography, or queer culture, zines have created a forum for dialogue in these communities and an outlet for creative expression. Artists have seized the opportunity to create zines, which are a relatively simple and affordable to create, in order to freely express their ideas to a wider audience.
